There are  until I can go skydiving!o

Home:
Southern California

Interests:  I really enjoy skydiving (in the wind tunnel), playing soccer hanging out with my friends and traveling.

About Me:  I live in Southern California and I am a Freshman at Canyon High School. In addition to being part of Team Future, I play soccer on a club team and on my High School team, which keeps me very busy. I also continue train for wind tunnel competitions as much as possible. When I am not playing soccer or training for a wind tunnel competition, I volunteer at several places, one of which is called Help the Children.

I definitely want to try skydiving when I turn 18, which is now only 3 years away! Time has really “flown” since I started skydiving in the wind tunnel in Colorado just after it opened in 2006.

When Team Future first started, our goal was to help gain recognition for the sport and to someday win first place in a pro category competition. Over the past four years, we have achieved both goals. We recently placed first at the Guantlett competition in Arizona in the pro category, and after 4 years of flying, there are now several other kids teams competing. I think it was surprising to adults when we first entered the sport, since kids had never been able to compete before the wind tunnels gained popularity. We were the first to give it a try, and it’s been a great experience.

I have met so many wonderful people through tunnel experiences, which has been the best part of being involved with the sport. I have flown in many different tunnels in the United States, as well as some in other countries. I would love to visit every tunnel in the world!

There are more guys than girls in skydiving, so it is really great to be a “female skydiver”. Even though Indoor Skydivng makes me “different” from most other kids, I have learned that it is fun to be different and unique!

It has been a lot of fun to be a part of Team Future- it has given my brother and I many life experiences that we would not have had otherwise, and I feel very fortunate to have built many wonderful memories. One day, I hope to become a skydiving coach and wind tunnel coach so that I can continue to help teach people the sport of bodyflight. o
